The choice of nozzle form and nozzle size has a large impact on the quality of the cut. There are three main types of nozzles: parallel, convergent, and conical. See Figure 1 below. However, some foreign institutions have applied knowledge of gas dynamics to study the convergence-expansion nozzle. This type of nozzle can be used for cutting and has good cutting characteristics. However, due to the complicated internal cavity of the nozzle, the processability and fineness of the processing are limited, so that it cannot be put into industrial production.
